Welcome to Guesthouse Kiyo

Guesthouse Kiyo is situated in a quiet residential street that is a little distance away from the city center. There several sightseeing spots around Guesthouse Kiyo, such as Genocide Museum, Olympic Market, and Wat Moha Montrei, and so on.

The building itself was built in the spring in 2009 and I remodeled it into a hotel. At first I applied for the permission of setting up a hotel to the authorities concerned, but they could not admit my application, for nobody can start hotel business in this area. I, therefore, reapplied for the permission of guesthouse to them and they admitted me on the end of July, in 2009. I started Guesthouse Kiyo on August 8, in 2009.

Guesthouse Kiyo provides accommodation service to tourists, businessmen, and local people. As the building and each room are fresh from oven, we are sure that you will be satisfied with staying at our Guesthouse. We are always trying to offer the best service for you to stay pleasantly and to have good memories and relaxation. We keep your privacy.

At present our Guesthouse offers 22 rooms which range from expensive type of rooms to dormitories. Each guest can use Wifi free.

There are several things to be proud of us. That is to say, Guesthouse Kiyo is one of the cleanest and cheapest guesthouses in Phnom Penh. All of Guesthouse Kiyo staffs are very kind and friendly to the guests.

Our Guesthouse offers guests service to drive the guests to and from the Phnom Penh International Airport and the Port of the Ferryboat. Indeed we can send you to the bus station, but it is regrettable that we cannot pick you up at the bus station because we cannot find out the bus station on account of lots of bus stations in Phnom Penh.

I am wondering if I could ask you a favor. Six months have passed since I started Guesthouse Kiyo. During this period, the guests of 6 rooms did not pay the room charge and ran away. These criminals included one long-stay guest that stayed about 2 months. We were very much damaged. We have been adopting the system of “Payment in advance” since then. Please understand our payment system as our “Guesthouse Regulation” says.

In addition to this, we have sometimes experienced that there were some guests making a lot of noise at night. This disturbs other guests’ sleep and annoys them. Please give active attention to other guests in order for every guest to make a pleasant stay. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
